Iggy Azalea Has Moved To Island Records

According to Billboard, Iggy Azalea has changed from Def Jam to Island Records. Their sources claim that it was shortly after she aired out Def Jam CEO Steve Bartels that she ended up relocating to Island. The interesting thing about Island Records and Def Jam is that they’re both owned by Universal Music Group and in 2013, they were merged together as Island Def Jam Music Group. A year later, Universal separated the labels as their own entities three weeks before Iggy released The New Classic which dropped under Def Jam solely.
